SadieLou sent Ellen Degeneres a sock monkey she had designed especially for her. She was Ellen from top to toe. Complete with designer watch, tennis shoes and tiny sleeveless vest. Ellen showed the "little Ellen" on her show. A few weeks later, Sadie, Sara Grace (Sadie's Grand daughter, who was the Junior Roving reporter) sent off a Roving Report video telling Ellen how thrilled Lynchburg Tennessee was, that our local sock monkey was discovered. The report aired and Ellen called Sara Grace, praised her for her terrific report and invited her out to be on the show. We had a wonderful trip and made some great monkey memories.
